A study of postoperative complications included data from 51 patients. Ten patients (196%, equivalent to 10/51) presented with postoperative complications. Among the 51 patients, a substantial 59% (3 patients) suffered from major complications, classified as Clavien-Dindo stage III or more. The existing body of research offers scant details on the use of the posterior auricular artery (PAA) for EDAS procedures in children. A review of our experience with PAA for EDAS in young patients, encompassing children and adolescents, is presented in this case series.
